What is AccuPrice?#

AccuPrice is a pricing platform built for service electricians. It maintains an electrical price book - materials, labor, prebuilt assemblies, and flat rate tasks - and syncs it into the invoicing software a contractor already uses. AccuPrice is a pricing layer, not job management software: scheduling, dispatch, and invoicing stay in your existing CRM.

Who makes AccuPrice?#

AccuPrice was built by a California electrical contractor with more than 20 years in the trade, out of his own shop's need for accurate service pricing. It is designed by an electrician, not a software company.

How big is the AccuPrice catalog?#

  • 1,400+ individual material items, covering the parts service electricians actually buy.
  • 1,400+ prebuilt assemblies - ready-made packages of materials and labor for common jobs, including panel changes, conduit runs, spa and HVAC / mini-split circuits, and switch and receptacle upgrades.
  • These are two separate catalogs: items and assemblies.

How often does AccuPrice update pricing?#

Material prices update every month. Assemblies and flat rate tasks are built from those material prices, so they reprice themselves automatically when material costs move. Most price book products in the trades update quarterly; AccuPrice updates monthly.

Does AccuPrice do flat rate pricing?#

Yes. The Flat Rate Pro plan includes a custom flat rate book builder. Flat rate tasks are built from your own material and labor costs - your rates, your markup, your market - not a national average. Because tasks are built from live material pricing, the flat rate book stays current instead of going stale.

AccuPrice can run as a flat rate system, as time & materials, or as a blend of both.

What does AccuPrice cost?#

AccuPrice has three plans, priced per company - never per technician:

  • Price Book - $420/year, or $150/quarter, billed every three months. The full 1,400+ item material catalog, monthly updates, editable pricing, markup and tax control, and your own labor items.
  • Price Book Pro - $840/year, or $300/quarter, billed every three months. Everything in Price Book, plus 1,400+ prebuilt assemblies and prebuilt labor items across all divisions.
  • Flat Rate Pro - $1,260/year, or $450/quarter, billed every three months. Everything in Price Book Pro, plus the custom flat rate book builder and field guides built to your own item list.

Annual billing saves 30% at every tier. Every plan includes unlimited users.

Full plan comparison on the pricing page.

Does AccuPrice charge per technician?#

No. Every plan is one price for the whole company. Adding technicians never changes the price.

What does AccuPrice integrate with?#

  • QuickBooks Online - direct sync into your Products and Services catalog.
  • Jobber - direct sync.
  • Any other CRM - via CSV export and bulk upload.

Each catalog syncs once per month; additional syncs are available.

Can I export my data?#

Yes, at any time, to CSV. Your price book is your data. If you cancel, the pricing you synced stays in QuickBooks, Jobber, or your exported CSV.

What are AccuPrice field guides?#

A coil-bound pocket guide that shows a crew how to find items in their CRM - codes, naming order, search terms. Every plan includes a printable PDF version. Price Book Pro includes two printed copies; Flat Rate Pro includes four, built to your own item list. Additional printed copies are $45 each.

Can AccuPrice import an existing flat rate book?#

Yes. Book migration is a one-time $2,000 service for books up to 1,000 items, available with Flat Rate Pro. AccuPrice pulls the material and labor hours out of each task and loads your book - your task names, your structure - so it reprices automatically going forward. Books over 1,000 items are quoted individually.

What AccuPrice is not#

  • AccuPrice is not job management, scheduling, or dispatch software.
  • AccuPrice does not use national-average pricing; markup, labor rates, and flat rate tasks are built from your own numbers.
  • AccuPrice does not lock in your data; everything exports to CSV.
